How do I get started with the franchise process?

If you have learned enough and you are now keen to become a Clara James Franchisee, the first step will be for us to have a chat.

Email me on [email protected] or send a WhatsApp to 07717753756

We can answer any final questions that you may have and reassure you that we would be a good fit for what you are looking for. At the same time, we can establish that you will be a good fit for us.

It must be a two-way process. I’m sure you appreciate the years and effort it has taken to build our reputation. To accept the wrong person as a franchisee could be detrimental to both our reputation and your future business.

So, we will arrange to have a chat. This ideally will be face-to-face here in Aylesbury. If that can’t be achieved, under some circumstances we will arrange for that call to take place online.

Committing to coming to Aylesbury, demonstrates your dedication to the success of your business.

At that meeting, I suggest that anyone else who will take an active part in your business, or anyone who is paramount in your life (wife, husband, partner) is with you so that if they have any questions or concerns, they can be answered and reassured at that point.

If you are both happy, I will give you the contract to take away and sign. If you change your mind for any reason, please do let me know as soon as possible. Once the contract is signed, I will forward the invoice to you. Once this is paid, I will release the training and you can get started straight away.

At this point we will also arrange for you to come back to Aylesbury for the final part of the training. Having a date fixed for this from the outset will create a deadline and ensure the training is done.

For the past 20+ years I have been a firm believer that learning should be an enjoyable experience. I appreciate that traditionally education has revolved around worksheets, textbooks, listening to teachers. But a grounding in early years and working with children who had a variety of learning styles from I learned that it is an individual activity that is personal to all of us. We don’t all learn in the same way. Our influences, our experiences, our capabilities all influence how we retain information. But through it all, I believe that if we can make it enjoyable and engaging, they will want to participate. With participation comes practice which in turn boosts skill and confidence. With an increase in skill and confidence comes a willingness to have a go. This in turn leads to more practice which leads to a positive spiral of success. The moral, we need to make learning fun, engaging, use a range of techniques.
